Total Lunar Eclipse

March 3, 2007

A lively group of Flamsteed members and GCSErs collected on Blackheath to watch a total lunar eclipse on the evening of Saturday March 3rd 2007.   Conditions were ideal with clear viewing for the entire event — miraculous considering weather the day before, and the day after, was very wet.  Several scopes were in evidence and we even managed a couple of deep sky objects.  Shows how clear it was for Blackheath.
