Total Lunar Eclipse

March 3, 2007

A lively group of Flamsteed members and GCSErs collected on Blackheath to watch a total lunar eclipse on the evening of Saturday March 3rd 2007. Conditions were ideal with clear viewing for the entire event miraculous considering weather the day before, and the day after, was very wet. Several scopes were in evidence and we even managed a couple of deep sky objects. Shows how clear it was for Blackheath.
